February 18, 2004- Ariens Co. of Snow Throwers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Ariens Co., of Brillion, Wis., is voluntarily recalling 571 Ariens 13-Horsepower Sno-Throw, Model 924506 snow throwers. The blade may not stop when the blade brake control is applied, resulting in continued blade movement. The potential for injury exists if consumers make contact with the rotary blade.
March 27, 2003- The Toro Company Recall of Snowthrowers
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), The Toro Company, of Bloomington, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 3,400 Toro Snow Commander snowthrowers. The plastic fuel tank can crack and leak gasoline, posing a risk for fire and injury.
November 27, 2002- Tecumseh Products Co. Recalls Power Equipment Engines
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Tecumseh Products Co., Tecumseh, Mich., is voluntarily recalling about 25,000 engines used in various outdoor power equipment. A misrouted fuel line in the engine can become damaged, allowing gasoline to leak out, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

September 30, 1999- Engines on Outdoor Power Equipment Recalled by Tecumseh Products
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Tecumseh Products Co., of Grafton, Wis., is voluntarily recalling about 118,000 engines equipped with a fuel shut-off valve on various brands of outdoor power equipment. Fuel can leak from a small hole in the engine's fuel line, presenting fire and explosion hazards to consumers.
